The Theatre Royal Bath production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal, will close on 31 Jan 2004 after a limited 3 month run at the Duchess Theatre.
Directed by Peter Hall, the play received terrific notices from the popular press when it opened in Oct 2003: SARAH HEMMING for THE FINANCIAL TIMES says, "Fine revival." Emma has had a seven year affair with Jerry, her husband's best friend and best man. But it's over now. Beginning at the end of the affair, each scene of Pinter's play moves backwards in time to the fateful moment when the infidelity begins.
