Phil Croft will direct a new production of Penetrator by Anthony Neilson which will run at the Hope Theatre in Islington from 4 to 22 August 2015, with an official opening on 6 August 2015.

"Three lads and two teddies unexpectedly find themselves at the crossroads of sexual identity. Max and Alan are living out a typical night in their shabby basement flat when long term school pal Tadge, having been away in the army, arrives out of the blue with some news."

The play originally ran at the Royal Court Theatre in 1994, as was considered to be Neilson's addition to the 'in yer face' theatre movement of the 1990s.

The production will star Alexander Pardey, Jolyon Price, and Tom Manning. Produced and directed by Phil Croft, who also provides lighting and sound design, it will feature stage design by Rachel Brennan.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
