Rambert to present 'Peaky Blinders' dance show in London
The new dance theatre event explores the lives of Thomas Shelby and the Peaky Blinders.

Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby explores the lives of characters in Peaky Blinders. In particular, audiences meet Thomas Shelby, the Peaky Blinders leader. Through dance theatre, audiences travel from Flanders trenches in World War One, through to the criminal underworld of post-war Birmingham, and the love affair between Thomas and undercover agent, Grace.
From serving in the Flanders trenches in World War One to finding himself in the criminal underworld of post-war Birmingham, he then meets Grace, a stranger who he eventually marries.
The Peaky Blinders dance production is a collaboration between dance company Rambert and Peaky Blinders. Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby features a story of Peaky Blinders television creator, Steven Knight, and direction and choreography by Rambert's artistic director Benoit Swan Pouffer. The show features a cast of 20 and a live band playing specially commissioned music.
Peaky Blinders is a British crime drama television series set in post World War One Birmingham. The Peaky Blinders television cast includes Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Sophie Rundle and Helen McCrory. The sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders will premiere on 27 February.
