The Way of the World lunchtimes at Bridewell 23 March

A single leaf presents The Way of The World, By William Congreve, adapted by Jo Kennedy, lunchtimes at the Bridewell Theatre, in city of London, from 23 March to 16 April 2010.

Directed by Jo Kennedy, designed by Katherine Bower, sound by Ben Lawrence.

Set in 1980s. The play follows the lovers Mirabell and Millamant.

In order for the two to get married and receive Millamant's full dowry, Mirabell must receive the blessing of Millamant's aunt, Lady Wishfort. However, her hatred of Mirabell means she is opposed to it and wants her nephew, Sir Wilful, to marry Millamant. As Mirabell endeavours to trick Lady Wishfort and win Millamant, double crossing, mistaken identities and humour arises.
