Find out the full cast for Rabiah Hussain’s Word-Play at the Royal Court. Word-Play begins previews on 29 September, ahead of an opening night on 4 October and performances to 5 November.

Set in modern-day Britain, Word-Play follows events after the Prime Minister is caught ad-libbing and using Islamophobic language on live TV. As fellow party members decide what to do, they’re already playing a catch-up game as the Prime Minister’s words are said nationwide; from bus stops to newspaper columns.

Nimmo Ismail directs the five-strong Word-Play cast: Kosar Ali, Mariam Haque, Maimuna Memon, Laurence Ubong Williams and Ragevan Vasan.

Word-Play is designed by Rosanna Vize, with lighting design by Jamie Platt, and sound design by Melanie Wilson.

Word-Play is at the Royal Court Theatre.
