Tennessee Williams' play The Night of the Iguana is set to return to the West End this year, with Clive Owen starring in a new production at the Noel Coward Theatre in the summer.

The play follows the interactions between widow, a clergyman and a spinster who are forced together in a dilapidated Mexican hotel during a storm.

Directed by James MacDonald, it will run at the Noel Coward Theatre for 12 weeks from 6th July, with tickets now on sale.

Clive Owen will star in the play. Owen may be best known for his screen work in films such as Close My Eyes, Closer and Children of Men. On stage, Owen has appeared at the Hampstead Theatre, Donmar Warehouse and National Theatre.

Alongside Owen will be Anna Gunn, known for playing Skylar, the wife of drug kingpin Walter White in the TV series Breaking Bad, and Lia Williams, a West End regular who has recently starred in Mary Stuart and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

The Night of the Iguana is at the Noel Coward Theatre from 6th July.
