Jim Bailey as Judy Garland the 40th Anniversary Concert is at the Leicester Square Theatre from 9 to 14 June 2009.

June 2009 is the 40th Anniversary of the legendary Judy Garland's passing; she would have been 87 years old. American impersonator Jim Bailey portrays Judy Garland singing all her great hits: Over the Rainbow, Get Happy, The Trolley Song and The Man that got Away.... An evening full of song, anecdotes and MGM stories once told by the lady herself.

Jim Bailey made his Las Vegas debut in the 1960s. Judy Garland saw him many times in 1968 and in the 1970s he performed two concerts with her daughter, Liza Minnelli, and they became friends. In England he did many Sunday Nights at the London Palladium and he then did two seasons at the London Palladium in 1977 and 1984. He last played there in 1995. He also appeared on TV on Saturday Night at the Mill, David Frost, Russell Harty , Wogan, Des O' Connor and five times on Richard and Judy. He appeared on a couple of Royal Variety Shows and four seasons at the Cafe Royal' Green Room.
