Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, Ellie Bamber, and more to star in 'The Line of Beauty' at the Almeida
The Line of Beauty is a captivating portrait of Thatcher’s Britain and follows protagonist Nick Guest as he is sucked into a world of money, power and privilege.
The full cast has been announced for Michael Grandage's production of The Line of Beauty at the Almeida Theatre in London. The world premiere production begins performances on 21 October, running through 29 November.
Based on the novel by Alan Hollinghurst, The Line of Beauty is a captivating portrait of Thatcher’s Britain and follows Nick Guest in the summer of 1983 as he is sucked into a world of money, power and privilege when he moves into the Notting Hill home of his university friend Toby.
The cast includes Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, Ellie Bamber, Doreene Blackstock, Charles Edwards, Arty Froushan, Claudia Harrison, Matt Mella, Hannah Morrish, Alistair Nwachukwu, Robert Portal, Leo Suter, and Jasper Talbot.
Adapted by Jack Holden, the rest of the creative team includes Set & Costume Designer Christopher Oram, Lighting Designer Howard Hudson, Sound Designer & Composer Adam Cork, and Movement and Intimacy Director Ben Wright.
