Adapted by Rachel Joyce, Peter Darling, and Katy Rudd from Joyce's hit novel, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry follows the title retiree as he goes on an over-600-mile walk to see an old friend with cancer. The musical adaptation features a score by indie musician Passenger and direction by Rudd.
The show also includes design by Samuel Wyer; choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves; arrangements, orchestrations, and additional music by Jeremy Holland-Smith; musical supervision and additional music by Phil Bateman; lighting design by Paule Constable; sound design by Ian Dickinson and Gareth Tucker for Autograph; video design by Ash J Woodward; musical direction by Chris Poon; and dramaturgy by Nick Sidi.
The Harold Fry musical premiered at the Chichester Festival Theatre, and Addy and Russell reprise their roles from that production.
