Written by comedy duo Trevor Ashley (who is currently starring in The Producers in the West End, and also directs) and Phil Scott, Deep-Heat Rivalry is described as a "camp, chaotic, and deliciously inappropriate new comedy that smashes together locker room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs, and absolutely no knowledge of sport whatsoever".
The score will range from power ballad to party pop, in a show that follows sworn enemies and hockey stars Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff — and their relationship behind closed doors.
Casting is to be announced.
