SIX announces upcoming UK Drive-In Tour
The smash-hit musical will play in 12 cities across the UK.
SIX will be one of the first shows to make it back to the stage. The producers of SIX The Musical have announced that the show will embark on a new UK drive-In concert tour, in association with Live Nation Entertainment's Utilita Live From The Drive-In.
In line with government guidance, the tour will launch in August for two months across 12 UK cities, including London, Bristol, Edinburgh, and Birmingham. SIX will perform an eight-show week in each venue.
In an effort to bring back the thrill and entertainment of live theatre whilst the doors still remain closed, this new drive-In experience will allow audiences to experience the musical from their own dedicated parking area, where they can enjoy the show within their own perimeters. The new concert tour will provide state of the art sound and light quality from the live stage, as well as high-definition LED screens where the Queens will be filmed live to watch.
The show's producers have also confirmed that both the Arts Theatre and UK Tour casts will be performing in the new concert tour in seperate venues, subject to casting availability.
Exclusive presale tickets are now available to purchase through the show's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The musical phenomenon SIX opened in the West End in 2019, after a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a UK tour, and it has since gone around the world, from Broadway to Australia. Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the musical remixes history by casting the six wives of Henry VIII as Tudor pop princesses who have come to tell their side of the story in a rock concert.
