Leonie Scott-Matthews presents Swimming Pools, Psychos, Spouses, three 25 minute one-man shows by Craig Crosbie and directed by Matthew Gould, at the Pentameters Theatre, in Hampstead, north-west London, with a preview performance on 23 Jul 2014, opening night on 24 Jul and a limited run through to 03 Aug 2014.

Synopsis: 'Swimming Pools: The Care and Attention of Swimming Pools is from a short story by well-known novelist William Boyd. A Beverly Hills swimming pool maintenance man's anal over-protection of his own pool provokes his girlfriend to terrible revenge.

Psychos: The Tell-Tale Heart by the 19th century high priest of horror, Edgar Allen Poe. A servant murders his master, but the still-beating heart grasses him up; the tick-tock of the rational versus the imagination's uncontrollable passions. The Tell-Tale Heart is widely considered a classic of the Gothic fiction genre and is one of Poe's most famous short stories.

Spouses: a translation by Ranjit Bolt of Juvenal's sixth satire. Satire VI is the most famous of the sixteen satires by the Roman author Juvenal. Satire VI is not merely a diatribe against women, but an all-out invective against marriage... marriage with a health warning.'
