A stage adaptation of the horror film series Paranormal Activity will open in the West End this Christmas. The show will open at the Ambassadors Theatre on 5 December for a limited 12-week season.

Paranormal Activity follows James and Lou, who move to London and discover that their new home hosts a disturbing, supernatural presence.

The stage show is a new story written by Levi Holloway (Grey House) and directed by Felix Barrett, artistic director and founder of immersive theatre company Punchdrunk.

Barrett previously directed Sleep No More, The Burnt City, and The Drowned Man. The rest of the creative team includes Fly Davis (set and costume design), Chris Fisher (illusions), Anna Watson (lighting), Gareth Fry (sound), and Luke Halls (video).

The production follows a try-out run at Leeds Playhouse and has an upcoming North American tour.
