When The Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell

When The Rain Stops Falling, by Andrew Bovell, directed by Emma Stirling, at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, a fringe venue in Islington, north London, from 8 to 14 April 2013.

In Alice Springs in the year 2039, fish are almost extinct. Rainfall is incessant. But one day, a fish falls from the sky and lands at the feet of Gabriel York. Spanning four generations and two hemispheres, from the claustrophobia of a 1950s London flat to the windswept coast of South Australia and into the heart of the Australian desert, follow Gabriel's ancestors into a past that merges with the present and the future.
