Without Reluctance and Without Relief - Jack Studio

Ballast Theatre Company present Three Monologues: Without Reluctance and Without Relief / You Take the 321 / Again by Howard Colyer, at the Jack Studio Theatre, a 50-seat fringe venue adjoining the Brockley Jack Pub, in Brockley, south London, from 24 to 28 February 2015.

The three plays are about people whose lives are dramatically and suddenly changed. They are directed by Richard Callanan (Without Reluctance and Without Relief), Sean Turner (You Take the 321) and Richard Callanan (Again). Cast includes David Bromley, Warren Taylor and Avita Jay.

Synopsis: "Without Reluctance and Without Relief: a man seeks to cope when the world shifts beyond his understanding. You Take the 321: a woman takes on a flat and a tenant more mysterious than any she had imagined. Again: a man tries to recover once more from an attempt to help his girlfriend's career."

Howard Colyer is a prolific playwright and novelist whose most recent plays have included 'Boris Godunov' (2015), 'Diary of a Madman' (2014), 'Marriage' (2014), 'Flight' (2014), 'Never Have I Seen Mount Fuji' (2013), 'Mandrake' (2013) and 'Trojan Women' (2013).
