Production images of Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch in Red in the West End
Production images have been released showing Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch in Red at Wyndham's Theatre, which opens later this week.
John Logan's play is about Mark Rothko as he embarks on painting a series of murals for an upmarket New York restaurant. His assistant Ken lends a helping hand, and the pair discuss a variety of topics as they assemble the art.
Michael Grandage directs the play, as he did when it premiered at the Donmar Warehouse in 2009. It starred Molina as Rothko (a role he reprises for this new West End production), and Eddie Redmayne as Ken. When the play transferred to Broadway, Redmayne won the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Play, while Molina was nominated for Best Actor in a Play.
Red is at Wyndham's Theatre until 20th June.
Red Tickets are available now.
