The Designated Mourner

I did not have a clue what it was about. We have three people Mike Nichols, David de Keyse and Miranda Richardson sitting at a table and talking about something from their past. I think! Again I'm sure there was something Wallace Shaw who written the play was trying to say but it sure had me baffled. I was not alone, I noticed many people in the audience were definitely feeling uncomfortable with it.

The applause at the end was a little muted and some even booed. Maybe I'm being a little unfair to this play and others like it, because in a way I'm judging it when I cannot understand it. Unless you like very cryptic plays, avoid this.
