What the popular press had to say.....
NICHOLAS DE JONGH for THE EVENING STANDARD says, "..thrilling, high plane of metaphysical mystery." MICHAEL COVENEY for THE INDEPENDENT says, "Highly charged and grimly atmospheric revival." MADDY COSTA for THE GUARDIAN says, "Beneath myriad obfuscations lies a discernible, if not quite gripping, plot." DOMINIC CAVENDISH for THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "Thrillingly assured revival...The ensemble playing is uniformly excellent." JOHN THAXTER for THE STAGE says, "Fine production." SAM MARLOWE for THE TIMES says, "While Eliot's slow deliberation and dense poetry veer between hypnotic and soporific, Jeremy Herrin's production is absorbingly atmospheric and acted with such intensity that it conjures a quiet horror."
