What the popular press had to say.....
NICHOLAS DE JONGH for THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Dynamically charged production...This is minor but intriguing Miller." PAUL TAYLOR for THE INDEPENDENT says, "Sincere and strongly committed revival...the play emerges as an intermittently powerful but awkward attempt to create a drama with myth-like elements in an otherwise realistically conceived mid-West community." MICHAEL BILLINGTON for THE GUARDIAN says, "Invigorating revival...Holmes' production, nicely pitched between reality and dream, is very well acted." CHARLES SPENCER for THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "Fine production grips from the start and never lets go...there isn't a single weak performance in this fascinating play." BENEDICT NIGHTINGALE for THE TIMES says, "Has plenty of dramatic colour and tension."
