About Clybourne Park

It's 1959 and a black family have purchased a property on the inherently white Clybourne Street. It's 2009, and the same property is being rebuilt by a white family in the now black neighbourhood. In both cases uproar ensues. Clybourne Park is an outrageous satire that discusses the effects of gentrification, racism, and the evolution of community throughout time.

A timely 10th anniversary production of this razor sharp satire about the politics of race and real estate, winner of both the Tony and Olivier Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for author Bruce Norris.

See it if You like to think, and be challenged, on a sharp take on race relations and reverberations through the years from A Raisin In The Sun.

Don’t see it if You don't want to spend a couple hours thinking of race relations over the years. Look, there's a reason it won the Pulitzer and Tony.
