Peter Pan Goes Wrong Information

Mischief Theatre's festive spectacular Peter Pan Goes wrong returns to London this year for a Christmas run at the newly-reopened Alexandra Palace Theatre.

Following questionable success in the West End with The Play That Goes Wrong, the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are somehow miraculously returning to the stage with their disastrous Christmas production of JM Barrie's classic story of the boy who never grew up, Peter Pan.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong ran in the West End twice, in 2015 and 2016 at the Apollo Theatre, and was seen by millions when it was broadcast on BBC One on New Year's Eve in 2016.

Now, audiences have another chance to witness the Christmas calamity as the UK tour comes to London's Alexandra Palace Theatre from 13th December 2019 to 5th January 2020.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong tickets are on sale now.

In Peter Pan Goes Wrong, the members of The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society once again battle against technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes on their way to Neverland with hilarious and disastrous results.

Our review

"This is not a pantomime," says the publicity for Peter Pan Goes Wrong. But it is a farce — and a riotous one — in which, instead of Peter Pan's traditional declaration that to die would be an awfully big adventure, it is more of an awfully big misadventure here. But then Peter Pan was never written by JM Barrie to be performed as a panto — it's actually a rather serious, sometimes brooding and melancholic work about the pains of growing up, as it portrays the story of a boy who refuses to do so,...
