About Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle

Empty your mind of all thoughts you’d rather keep to yourself! Book tickets for Mischief Theatre’s Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle on London Theatre now.

The Mind Mangler is in the West End for a limited time only, fresh from a run on Broadway and a tour of the UK (there was also a two-night stint at the Luton Holiday Inn, but he’d rather not talk about that).

Featuring all of Mischief Theatre’s beloved brand of self-deprecating humour and intricately choreographed chaos, the show is performed by Mischief founding members Henry Lewis as the Mind Mangler and Jonathan Sayer as the Stooge. Mischief are the beloved creators of the Olivier Award-winning The Play That Goes Wrong (running in the West End since 2014, and also a Broadway and international hit), as well as Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and Lights! Camera! Improvise! Mischief Movie Night. The troupe have been seen several times on the BBC (2019’s A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong guest starred Diana Rigg and Derek Jacobi).

Filled with awe-inspiring magic tricks as well as input from the audience, the Mind Mangler reveals the likes, dislikes, quirky habits, and darkest secrets of the strangers who put themselves forward. New York Theatre Guide’s critic was amazed at how Mind Mangler worked out that “One of my fellow audience members has only eight toes, and another accidentally knocked over Stockard Channing at a restaurant”. What will be revealed at your performance?

The Mind Mangler might not always achieve the trick he sets out to do but he’ll certainly accomplish something memorable. Filled with audience interaction, nothing is as it seems, and every show is different!
