About Priscilla The Party!

Step off the city streets and be transported into the Australian outback through the glittering, immersive world of drag queens, tales of adventure, and song-and-dance numbers that will have you joining the fun. Book Priscilla the Party! tickets on London Theatre now.

Priscilla the Party! is based on The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a hit film about drag queens, community, and acceptance, which earned an Oscar in 1995. Following its big screen success, it was adapted into a musical, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, which won an Olivier Award followed by two 2011 Tony Awards for the Broadway transfer. Now Priscilla the Party! is an immersive show that allows you to be part of the adventure.

Audiences are encouraged to sing along to the hit songs and choose from various seating options. Seated audiences can enjoy a full meal during the show, and standing tickets put partygoers right on the dance floor, where they can groove to songs like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “It’s Raining Men,” and more.

Priscilla the Party! in London is a drag-infused show set in the Australian outback. It impressively boasts over 500 enchanting costumes and over 200 headdresses. The story is based on the original film, where friends embark on a road trip in an old bus performing their drag act throughout Australia. They experience highs and lows through their travels, from struggles experiencing homophobia to heartwarming friendships. This story of love, friendship, and acceptance still resonates decades after its premiere.

Priscilla the Party! is staged by many of the same creative teams that brought Priscilla, Queen of the Desert to Australia, the West End, and Broadway. The original director, Simon Phillips, returns to reimagine the show into a dazzling immersive experience.

Production note
This a party style production, with the show happening around and within the audience. Bright lights, haze, loud noise and on-stage smoking throughout. There is strong language and themes which some may find distressing.
