About Storehouse

Step into the 9,000 square metre Deptford Storehouse in London and be transported into the immersive world of Storehouse, the debut production from Sage & Jester. Book Storehouse tickets on London Theatre.

Storehouse is an immersive production that imagines an underground collective archiving and saving all of humanity's stories since the creation of the internet in 1983. However, when the last founder is quickly fading, a new successor is needed. This show has hints of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four alongside nods to Severance. This bold new production uniquely blends technology, art, and storytelling.

The excellent cast is divided into two groups—the talented voiceover actors guiding audiences through the space and the physical actors acting within it. The voiceover actors included Toby Jones (Mr Burton), Meera Syal (Paddington 2), Kathryn Hunter (Harry Potter), and Billy Howle (Dear Octopus). The physical performers include Nina Smith (Kiln Theatre), Dawn Butler (Family Affairs), Bonnie Adair (Here We Go), and Zachary Pang (Dear Evan Hansen). Other performers include Nat Kennedy, Elizabeth Hollingshead, Chris Agha, and Harriett O'Grady.

Storehouse in London has an expert creative team which includes Liana Patarkatsishvili, who is the founder and concept creator, Donnacadh O'Briain, who is the story producer, Sophie Larsmon is the creative director, Anna Meredith is the composer, and there are six co-writers, including Katie Lyons, Tristan Bernays, Sonali Bhattacharyya, Kathryn Bond, Caro Murphy, and Rhik Samadder.

Patarkatsishvili said in a statement, "My whole life has been inextricably linked with the media and information ecosystem. I have witnessed firsthand the systemic impact of manipulated information on a personal, national and international level. With this awareness comes the need to share that insight and take steps to affect change."
