Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a play set after a party on the campus of an American college. Martha invites a younger couple back to her home for drinks, much to her husband, George's, chagrin. Their guests, a new professor, Nick, and his wife, Honey, arrive expecting nothing more than a nightcap with colleagues after a faculty event. Instead, they are sucked into George and Martha's toxic and volatile marriage, where every conversation becomes bait for anger and games of psychological torment.

As the alcohol adds to the tension and dawn begins to approach, the evening spirals down into a sea of mind games and emotional warfare. Edward Albee's landmark play brings the audience into the inner workings of a marriage that is standing on an unsteady, hurtful foundation, ultimately leading to a devastating moment of emotional honesty.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in London stars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson as Martha, with Emmy and Tony Award winner Billy Crudup as George. Together, they are joined by Josh Dylan as Nick and Phoebe Horn as Honey. Anderson returns to the West End in one of modern theatre's most formidable roles, while Crudup takes on George following his recent London stage appearances in Harry Clarke and High Noon.
