One Day – The Musical tickets

One Day-The Musical is a musical that centres on Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew when they meet on the night of their university graduation, 15 July 1988. Their futures are bound for very different lives, but one evening creates a connection between them that neither of them can deny.

From there, One Day-The Musical revisits Em and Dex on the same day over the years as their careers change, relationships begin and end, their goals shift, and opportunities arrive at difficult moments. As they move through adulthood, their bond evolves through friendship, attraction, and second chances.

Jamie Muscato (The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Cabaret) reprises the role of Dexter following the musical’s world premiere in Edinburgh. Alongside him is Sharon Rose (Hamilton, Sylvia) returning as Emma.

David Greig writes the book, adapting David Nicholls’ internationally bestselling novel for the stage. Abner and Amanda Ramirez provide the music and lyrics for One Day-The Musical in London, with additional material by Jeremy Sams.

Max Webster directs this West End production following his work on Life of Pi, Macbeth, and The Importance of Being Earnest. The creative team also includes choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set and costume designer Rae Smith, lighting designer Bruno Poet, sound designer Simon Baker, and orchestrator Simon Hale.

One Day-The Musical brings Emma and Dexter’s relationship to the stage with a new original score and two acclaimed West End performers to breathe life into the story.
