As their husbands clash over an international crisis, the first ladies of France and America find themselves alone together in a side room.  Friends, or enemies? When the stakes are so high, can they trust each other?  Can they trust their husbands?

The full cast joining Zoe Wanamaker and Zrinka Cvitešić in the world premiere of Two Ladies at the Bridge Theatre has been announced. Wanamaker and Cvitešić play the first ladies of America and France who find themselves in a side room as their husbands clash over an international crisis. Directed by Nicholas Hytner, Nancy Harris’ play premieres at the Bridge Theatre from 14th September for a six-week run to 26th October.

Zoë Wanamaker and Zrinka Cvitešić will star as the first ladies of the US and France in the world premiere of Two Ladies at the Bridge Theatre, opening in September 2019. Written by Nancy Harris, Two Ladies follows Hélène and Sophia, the first ladies of France and America who find themselves in a side room while their husbands are negotiating international crises. As their spouses clash politically, Hélène and Sophia have to decide whether to trust each other and their husband’s decisions.
