Briefly tell us how you became involved with Aladdin & Jersey Boys"
Both were auditions I did 2 years ago. I'm still playing Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys and this year Michael Rose asked me to come back and play Aladdin again at the O2.

What was your first stage performance?
I was always involved with school productions and Am Dram from about 5 years old. My first professional role was Oliver Twist at the London palladium when i was 12.

What roles would you most like to play?
Everything I've done so far has been quite young and innocent. I'd love to have a crack at playing a really bad guy; it always seems like much more fun.

What's the best advice you've ever received?
Always be good to people on your way up because you'll see them all on the way down

If you had not become a performer, what might you have done instead?
I'm a big animal lover so maybe something in that field.

Favourite after-show haunts
I don't really go out after work anymore, am usually knackered. I think I overdid it the last 10 years, I can't recover like I used to!

What was the last book you read, and name some of your favourite authors?
I've just finished the first book in the Game of Thrones set. I'm a big fan of the TV show and the book is even better so I'll be cracking on with the next 4.

What was the last film you saw, and name some of your favourite movies?
Last film I saw was Ted and the new Batman which I loved. Tom Hardy is such a fantastic actor, I'm a big fan of his.

Favourite TV programs?
I love Modern Family, it's the funniest show going at the moment. I'm really into Boardwalk Empire too.

Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy cooking but my number 1 hobby is without doubt sleeping, I'm almost professional.

Do you have any superstitions?
I've never been majorly superstitious, saying that I wouldn't walk under a ladder and never step on 3 drains, I don't know why!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
My ipod, a bottle of vodka and my rabbit Hellen

What are your future plans?
I'll be staying with Jersey Boys next year and between shows I will be out promoting my new album Fallen Angel.
