Briefly tell us how you became involved with Legally Blonde The Musical?
I was asked to audition and I got the part. I really didn't see that one coming!

Briefly tell us about the character of Paulette you play in Legally Blonde The Musical.
She's a slightly stoned, enthusiastic hair dresser who wants people to be happy and to find love.

Your first stage performance?
I did festivals from the age of three, so that I suppose

Career highlight to date?
Interviewing Britney Spears - She put me in mind of a young Geoff Capes

What roles would you most like to play?
Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy

What's the best advice you've ever received?
Never trust a woman in £2.99 leggings.

What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage/TV?
I'm embarrassed every time I step onstage. There's always a danger that people may find out that in reality you're just winging it.

What is the most annoying part about your job?
Realising that your natural eyelashes will never look as good as false ones.

If you had not become a performer, what might you have done instead?
A chef

Favourite after-show haunts
The Savoy. It's my local. CAMP!

Who are your favourite actors/actresses
Joan Cussack. Mark Rylance. Tracey Bennett. Sandra Bullock.

If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and what would you say to them?
Charles Darwin. I'd love to tell him everyone else was wrong and he was right.

What was the last book you read, and name some of your favourite authors?
If This Is A Man by Primo Levi. I love David Sedaris, Chuck Palachuck and Tina Fey.

What was the last film you saw, and name some of your favourite movies?
Tron Legacy. I love the Big Labowski and Gentlemen prefer Blondes.

Favourite TV programs?
CSI Vegas, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations

Favourite holiday destinations?
New York. So good they named it twice.

Do you have any hobbies?
I play the pink oboe

Do you have any superstitions?
I have to play music in my dressing room. Every night. Without fail.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
Lip balm, whiskey and my fiancé.

What are your future plans?
Stay cool, Be nice, Go hard!
