2 John Dunne plays announced at Pentameters Theatre

The Pentameters Theatre, a fringe venue above the Horseshoe Pub in Hampstead, north-west London, has announced two upcoming productions, written and directed by John Dunne. Both shows are produced by Léonie Scott-Matthews.

The Long Woman's Grave
Written and directed by John Dunne
Synopsis: 'Jack, a second generation Irishman, returns to his homeland for a period of peace, quiet and general healing of the soul. His peace, however, is disturbed when characters from a local legend visit him in his lonely but idyllic cottage by the sea.'

The Curse of Macha
Written and directed by John Dunne
Synopsis: 'A sequel to Long Woman's Grave set one year on. Jack is now a successful playwright working in Dublin. His occasional return to his cottage by the sea is invaded by a pair of goddesses drawn from Irish mythology.'
