A Christmas Carol will take over London’s theatre scene this winter! A Christmas Carol will play at the Bridge Theatre, with performances from 6 to 31 December.

In this adaptation of A Christmas Carol, three actors multi-role all the characters, including Ebenezer Scrooge. Simon Russell Beale and Eben Figueriedo reprise their performances from the 2020 production, alongside Lyndsey Marshal who joins for 2022. Patsy Ferran previously starred in A Christmas Carol.

In a 2020 review of A Christmas Carol at the Bridge Theatre, our critic said: “the commingling of emotion from pathos to comedy and back again strikes somewhere very deep indeed… the production's real success has not to do with clothes but with an ability to remint this appeal to the heart so that it honestly and urgently pierces ours.”

Nicholas Hytner directs his adaptation of A Christmas Carol. The show features scenic and costume design by Rose Revitt, lighting design by Jon Clark and sound design by Gareth Fry.

A Christmas Carol is at the Bridge Theatre from 6 to 31 December.
