P!nk will host the 2026 Tony Awards.

Grammy Award-winning pop star P!nk is flying onto the Broadway scene as this year's Tony Awards host. The "Get the Party Started" singer is known for her high-flying concert performances, so we're anticipating plenty of aerial tricks at Radio City Music Hall on 7 June. We also hope her hosting gig will lead to her Broadway debut someday soon!

Tom Felton extends in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Extendo! Tom Felton is working magic in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, breaking box office records as he reprises his film role of Draco Malfoy, now as an adult, in his Broadway debut. Previously scheduled to depart the show in May, Felton will now perform through 1 November at NYC's Lyric Theatre.

Mariska Hargitay will make a brilliant Broadway debut.

She's spent 27 years playing Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but from 26 May, Mariska Hargitay is showing a new side of herself. She makes her Broadway debut in Every Brilliant Thing, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe's interactive solo play about a person who uses an ever-growing list of little joys to cheer up their depressed mother. You might even get to hang out with Hargitay on stage.

Rosamund Pike is bringing Inter Alia to Broadway.

Rosamund Pike is currently holding court in the West End as the star of Inter Alia — and this autumn, she'll be making her Broadway debut with the NYC transfer of the show starting 10 November. Pike reprises her role as Jessica Parks, a judge and mother whose personal and professional worlds collide in ways that make her question the nature of justice.

New York, please look after this bear! After sweeping the 2026 Olivier Awards in London with seven wins, Paddington The Musical is eyeing a 2027 Broadway transfer, per producer Sonia Friedman. It'll be a big adventure for the little bear, and we can't wait to learn more details.

Coming up: It's awards season

London's 2026 Olivier Awards have come and gone, but in NYC, awards season is just getting started. Nominations for the Outer Critics Circle, Drama League, and Drama Desk Awards have already been announced ahead of the mother of them all: Tony Award nominations, announcing 5 May. Tune in on New York Theatre Guide's website and socials for the full nominations list, interviews with the nominees, and more coverage until the ceremony on 7 June.
