Continuing his hot streak of shows on both sides of the pond, Tony- and Olivier-winning director Jamie Lloyd is bringing his ultra-pink revival of Much Ado About Nothing from London to NYC, and we're sure it'll be one of the buzziest Broadway events this autumn. Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell (in her Broadway debut) will reprise their roles as Benedick and Beatrice, and we can't wait to find out if more of their West End co-stars will join them.

Come what may, indeed. Moulin Rouge! The Musical will close on Broadway on 26 July, almost seven years to the day after its opening night. But before it goes, Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in the show as Zidler, making history as the first female-identifying performer to play the role in any production worldwide. She'll perform from 24 March to 17 May only.

While we're sad to see this longtime favourite go, we can't help but wonder: Is another ex-ci-ting show waiting in the wings to move into the Al Hirschfeld Theatre? Luckily, you can-can still see Moulin Rouge! The Musical in London, on tour across the U.S., and in Sydney, Australia from March 2027.

Ten years ago, Laurie Hernandez took home Olympic gold as part of the U.S. women's gymnastics team and followed that up by winning season 23 of Dancing With the Stars — all within three months. Now, from 17 March to 14 June, she'll be channelling all those skills in & Juliet, making her Broadway debut as featured ensemble dancer Charmion.

She follows in the footsteps of Charli D'Amelio, the social media sensation (and fellow DWTS champ) who played Charmion for just under a year from 2024-25.

After making his West End debut as Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby last spring, High School Musical film star Corbin Bleu is returning to Broadway to reprise the role from 30 March. We're going to miss his dance skills in Gatsby's big tap number, but at least we're not alone.

“I’m on stage for it, but I’m not part of it. I’m going to have FOMO every single night!” Bleu told London Theatre in 2025. But we know there will be a next time.

Just in Time may be about the life of 20th-century crooner Bobby Darin, but it's for 21st-century fans. Specifically, Glee fans. When the musical's original star, Tony Award winner (and Glee's Jesse St. James) Jonathan Groff, departs on 29 March, he'll be succeeded by Matthew Morrison, an Emmy nominee for playing glee club director Will Schuester, for three weeks in April.

Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan will then step into Darin's shoes starting 21 April. Jordan wasn't on Glee, but considering how beloved he is among theatre fans, there's certainly lots of overlap.

We can't just pick one thing coming up in March, because everything is coming up in March. Broadway shows must open by late April to be eligible for this year's Tony Awards in June, so the next two months will be filled with new openings to watch — 16 between now and 26 April, to be precise.

Buzzy March highlights include Daniel Radcliffe in Every Brilliant Thing, The Bear stars Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in Dog Day Afternoon, Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf in Death of a Salesman, and the NYC debut of the Olivier-winning, John Lithgow-led Giant, which wowed audiences in London last year.
