Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) and Noah Galvin (Dear Evan Hansen) will make their London stage debuts this summer in the world premiere of the play Hit Machine, running from 8 July to 15 August at Soho Theatre.
Hit Machine follows two estranged brothers — one a record mogul, the other an aspiring musician — whose reunion sparks a battle over family history, resentments, and the truth, which they may only be able to express through a song.
The play is written by Jonathan Caren, with original music by Ben Harper. Daniel Bailey directs.
“I’m interested in the way pop music can be manufactured and yet still hit something raw in us," Caren said in a statement. "While the play is about songwriting, it is also about the ways men handle shame, or even build entire identities around it.”
More cast and creatives are to be announced.
