Actor, Anton Rodgers, dies aged 74

Actor, Anton Rodgers, died on Saturday 1 December 2007, at the age of 74

He was known for his television performances, including sitcoms "Fresh Fields" (1980s) and "May to December" (1980s & 90s).

He has appeared on the London stage many times in his 50 year career. His recent West End stage credits include 'Grandpa Potts' in "Chitty Chitty Bang bang" at the London Palladium in 2002 and "Under the Doctor" at the Comedy THeatre in 2001.
