The Stock Exchange Dramatic and Operatic Society will present an amateur production of Pornography by Simon Stephens at the Bridewell Theatre in central London from 26 to 30 January 2016.

The drama is composed of seven stories that create a kaleidoscopic portrait of a London that moved in a few days from the euphoria of Live 8 and the Olympic win announcement to the devastation of 7/7. It originally premiered in Hannover, Germany in 2007 and later transferred to the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn and has since become a favourite of university and amateur theatre groups.

Directed by Chris Davis, the cast for the production includes Dewaine Barrett (Bomber), Paul Caira (Teacher), Alex Marlow (Jason), Rebecca Parker-Smith (Working Mum), Sarah Ratner (Student), Liz Stevens (Elderly Lady), Minnie Walker (Sibling), Alex Woolley (Sibling).

SEDOS was founded in 1905 by senior members of the stock exchange and its membership now includes an eclectic mix of amateur performers from all over London who perform regularly at the Bridewell Theatre.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
