Andrew Derbyshire takes over the role of Joseph from 1 Dec 03

Andrew Derbyshire will take over the role of 'Joseph' from Darren Day in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from 1 Dec 2003 at the New London Theatre.

Andrew Derbyshire, who will play the part until 17 Jan 2004, has been playing the role of Joseph in the current UK tour for the last 6 months. He has played Galileo in 'We Will Rock You' at the Dominion. He was in the Finals of 'Pop Idol' before being cast in the Queen musical.

This production by Bill Kenwright, who also directs, is designed by Sean Cavanagh, choreographed by Henry Matcalfe with lighting by Nick Richings.

The musical retells the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.
