Asking Rembrandt at the Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington

Scealta Mora will present Asking Rembrandt by Steve Gooch at the Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington, north London, from 23 June to 18 July 2015, with an official opening on 23 June 2015.

Directed by Jonathan Kemp, the cast will include Liam McKenna (Rembrandt), John Gorick (Jan Six), Esme Patti-Ford (Henni), and Loz Keystone (Titus).

Based around the few known facts of Rembrandt's relationship with patron Jan Six as well as mistress Hendrickje Stoffels, this play looks at the perils of the commissioning process through the working life of this most formidable artist.
