Cast announced for Lovely and Misfit

Fish Productions has announced the full cast for Lovely and Misfit: three "undiscovered" short plays by Tennessee Williams:

Directed Anna Ledwich, the play opens at the Trafalgar Studios Two on the 8 March, following previews from 6 March - running to 31 March 2007.

AND TELL SAD STORIES OF THE DEATH OF QUEENS: About a transvestite called Candy, played by Edward Hughes, who lives in New Orleans' French Quarter and enters into a dangerous relationship with a young sailor called Karl (Matt Ryan). The play also features David Hartley as Alvin, and Carl Ferguson as Jerry; two young tenants living upstairs from Candy.

MISTER PARADISE: Ted Van Griethuysen (Mister Paradise), Jennifer Higham (The Girl), A young woman home on holiday from an elite women's college enters a squalid French Quarter residence. She is seeking Mr Paradise, the author of a book of poetry that she discovered propping up a three-legged table in an antique store.

SUMMER IN THE LAKE: A sensitive youth, Donald Fenway, played by David Hartley, desperately seeks a place of refuge from his mother who denounces him as a dreamer and "different - or Queer or something". Diana Kent, plays the tyrannical mother, and her young maid Anna is played by Jennifer Higham.
