Kandinsky will present Dog Show at the New Diorama Theatre in north London from 29 September to 17 October 2015.

"Based on the true story of Hong Kong's Serial Dog Killer, the story has now been transported to London's dog-walking heartlands Hampstead Heath and expanded beyond the realms of murder mystery to explore the relationships and interactions between owners and their dogs, with four human actors each portraying multiple breeds of dog, and, in doing so, illuminating and questioning the near-human roles dogs sometimes play in our lives."

The production will be directed by James Yeatman. Kandinsky have twice won the Sunday Times Playwriting Award and were nominated for the Carol Tambor Award in 2008. Their work places the collaboration between writer and director at its heart through an extended rehearsal period.

The drama was inspired by the ongoing mystery of Hong Kong's serial dog poisoner, who struck dozens of times over a period of more than 20 years from 1989 and has never been identified.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
