Easter, 1916 at Pentameters Theatre from 15 March

Easter, 1916, written and directed by John Dunne, will be presented at the Pentameters Theatre, a fringe venue in Hampstead, north London, from 15 March to 3 April 2016.

The play commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising and was previously presented at the Kings Head Pub Theatre in north London, winning the Time Out Critics Choice.

Synopsis: "Chronicles the week that began as a small uprising in the centre of Dublin on Easter Monday, April 24th, 1916."
