Fourth Monkey Ensemble will present Elephant Man, written, directed and co-produced by Stephen Green at the Jack Studio Theatre in Brockley, south-east London from 3 to 21 February 2015 with an official opening on 4 February 2015.

Inspired by the David Lynch film and the true story of Joseph Merrick, this drama follows Merrick, who owes his existence to those who exploit his horrible deformities for their own ends. But as he sits silently under curious stares, it is the world around him that appears grotesque.

The cast for the production includes Daniel Chrisostomou, Scott McGarrick, Ami Sayers, Adam Trussell, and Katherine Turner.

Elephant Man will feature designs by Zahra Mansouri, lighting by Pablo Fernandez Baz, sound design and composition by Stu Sibley and costume design by Anatasia Sarajeva.

Fourth Monkey Ensemble is the touring arm of the London-based Fourth Monkey Theatre Company founded by Stephen Green, who is also the artistic director of the company. They aim to offer "an innovative training programme with an emphasis on repertory performance".
