Full casting for Donmar's Ivanov confirmed!

Full casting has been confirmed for the Donmar at the Wyndham's production of Ivanov, which opens at the Wyndham's theatre 17 Sep 2008, following previews from 12 Sep - running to 29 Nov 2008.

Joining previously mentioned Kenneth Branagh as Ivanov, are Lucy Briers (Babakina), Malcolm Sinclair (Shabelsky), Gina McKee (Anna Petrovna), Kevin R McNally (Lebedev), Andrea Riseborough (Sasha), John Atterbury (Yegorushka/Pyotr), Linda Broughton (Avdotya), Lorcan Cranitch (Borkin), Tom Hiddleston (Lvov), Sylvestra Le Touzel (Zinaida), James Tucker (Kosykh).

Ivanov by Anton Chekhov, in a new version by Tom Stoppard, is directed by Michael Grandage, design by Christopher Oram, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Adam Cork.

Once a man of limitless promise, Ivanov is plunged into debt. His marriage is in crisis, and his evenings are spent negotiating loans, avoiding love affairs and fighting to resist the small town jealousies and intrigues which threaten to engulf his life.
