Full casting for ‘Out West’ triple-bill of plays at Lyric Hammersmith

The West London venue opens next month.

Ahead of Out West opening next month, the full casting for the three new plays has been announcedOut West is at Lyric Hammersmith from 18 June - 24 July, with streaming options during the run from 12 - 17 July.

Esh Alladi will play Gandhi in Tanika Gupta's The Overseas Student, which sees a teenage Gandhi travelling to the UK to study law. He's previously starred in Dara, Absolute Hell and Romeo and Juliet at the National Theatre, as well as Gandhi in Lions and Tigers at Shakespeare's Globe.

Tom Mothersdale will play Jack in Simon Stephens' Blue Water and Cold and Fresh, following a white male adult who challenges his own prejudices. He's previously been in Oil at the Almeida and John at the National Theatre.

Roy Williams' Go, Girl follows a Westfield security guard raising her daughter. Ayesha Antoine will play Donna, who has been in the West End production of Red Velvet and White Teeth at the Kiln Theatre.

Later in the year, Martin McDonagh's The Beauty Queen of Leenane will be revived at Lyric Hammersmith, starring Kwaku Fortune and Ingrid Craigie. 

Out West is at Lyric Hammersmith from 18 June - 24 July.
