Three world premiere shows have been scheduled at Hampstead Theatre, with dates to June 2022. All three shows will take place in the Hampstead Theatre's Downstairs space.

The Hampstead Theatre's Downstairs space is currently home to Folk, which runs to 5 February. After Folk, Ruby Thomas' The Animal Kingdom will play at the Hampstead Theatre from 18 February to 26 March. Thomas' play follows a family finding new ways to communicate while in therapy.

The Animal Kingdom cast stars Paul Keating, Martina Laird, Jonathan McGuinness, Ashna Rabehru and Ragevan Vasan. Lucy Morrison directs, with design by Naomi Dawson and sound design by Beth Duke.

Lisa Hammond, Rachael Spence, Kirsty Housely and Annie Siddons' play Some Old Street will then receive its world premiere at Hampstead Theatre from 2 April to 7 May. Hammond and Spence will play Lisa and Rachel in this two-person play, asking how two women can stay together. Housely directs Some Old Street.

Satinder Chohan's Lotus Beauty rounds off the three new shows at Hampstead Theatre Downstairs. Set in a salon, the play follows the lives of five multigenerational women who share honest truths while undergoing beauty treatments. Pooja Ghai directs Lotus Beauty, with casting and a creative team to be announced. Lotus Beauty runs from 13 May to 18 June.
