Jon Robyns, Bradley Jaden and Carrie Hope Fletcher to star in Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre

Casting has been announced for the return of Les Miserables to its West End home, the Sondheim Theatre (formerly known as the Queen's Theatre), following renovations and a temporary concert production of the musical taking place at the Gielgud.

Carrie Hope Fletcher, who is currently starring in the concert version alongside Michael Ball, Alfie Boe and Matt Lucas, will reprise her role as Fantine when the production returns.

She will be joined by Jon Robyns, who currently plays King George in Hamilton, as Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden, who will return to the role of Javert, and Gerard Carey, who will play Javert.

Shan Ako will play Eponine, Josefina Gabrielle will play Madame Thénardier, Enjorlas will be played by Ashley Gilmour and Lily Kerhoas will play the role of Cosette.

Rachelle Ann Go will stand in for Fletcher in the role of Fantine for 7 weeks from 2nd March to 18th April, before taking over the role full-time in the summer from 27th July 2020.Fletcher will play the role from 18th December 2019 to 29th February 2020, and then again from 20th April to 25th July.

The full production of Les Miserables will return to the Sondheim Theatre on 18th December 2019.

Full casting includes Kelly Agbowu, Ciarán Bowling, Richard Carson, Rodney Earl Clarke, Matthew Dale, Matt Dempsey, Harry Dunnett, Jessie Hart, Jessica Joslin, Sarah Lark, Georgie Lovatt, Ellie Ann Lowe, Luke McCall, Leo Miles, Claire O'Leary, Shane O'Riordan, Kathy Peacock, Sam Peggs, Mark Pearce, Emma Warren, Sake Wijers, Mared Williams and Samuel Wyn-Morris.

In a statement, producer Cameron Mackintosh said: "As Les Mis enters its 35th year in London, I am thrilled that we have found a brilliant and exciting cast to open my new production at the Sondheim theatre , many of whom were not even born when the show first opened!"

Les Miserables returns to the Sondheim Theatre on 18th December.
