There’s no beauty school dropouts here. Louise Redknapp will play Teen Angel in Grease in the West End this summer. Grease is at the Dominion Theatre from 2 June to 28 October. Book Grease tickets on London Theatre.

Redknapp made her West End debut in 2019, playing Violet Newstead in 9 to 5. The Eternal singer previously starred in national tours of Fatal Attraction and Cabaret.

“As the biggest fan of Grease growing up I was thrilled to be asked to join the cast in the role of Teen Angel. Traditionally seen as a male role, I’m excited to be given the opportunity to shake it up and play it from a new perspective under the direction of Nikolai Foster,” said Redknapp.

Redknapp will play Teen Angel in Grease from 2 June until 29 July, excluding Mondays.

Dan Partridge and Olivia Moore will reprise the roles of Danny and Sandy in Grease. When the pair previously played the loved up teenagers, they shared their memories of Grease to London Theatre. Jocasta Almgill returns as Rizzo. Further casting will be revealed at a later date.

Grease follows high school sweethearts Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski as they navigate their senior year at Rydell High. Grease features songs such as "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "Greased Lightnin'", and "Summer Nights."

Nikolai Foster directs, with choreography by Arlene Phillips, designs by Colin Richmond, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Tom Marshall.
