Find out who’ll star in Midsummer Mechanicals at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse this summer. Midsummer Mechanicals runs from 28 July to 21 August, and Midsummer Mechanicals tickets are on sale now.

The Midsummer Mechanicals play follows on from storylines in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. During the show, audiences see Peter Quince’s acting troupe try to maintain the success of their first hit show, Pyramus and Thisbe.

Midsummer Mechanicals marks Shakespeare Globe’s first full-scale production designed with families and young people in mind.

The cast includes Melody Brown as Patience Snout, Sam Glen as Francis Flute, Kerry Frampton as Nicholas Bottom, and Jamal Franklin as Peter Quince.

Lucy Cuthbertson and Kerry Frampton direct Midsummer Mechanicals, which is an original piece by Frampton and Ben Hales. The show features design by Rose Revitt and costumes by Sabia Smith.
