‘Press Play Here’ mini plays now streaming at Theatre Royal Stratford East

Five short plays are now available for free online.

Sadly, Theatre Royal Stratford East have postponed their 2021 reopening, which was previously scheduled to take place next month. However, to combat the loss of theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East have released five mini plays, collectively titled Press Play Here, which are all available to watch for free.

All five shows were created during lockdown. Each production focuses on different aspects of the performing arts, including pantomime, cabaret and new writing. The list of shows are as follows:

Jack and the Beanstalk - Pocket Panto
Meet Mo
Romani Girl
Le Cabaret de Rien
Ribena

Press Play Here aims to transport audiences to Theatre Royal Stratford East, even though they cannot visit in person. The videos are also available on YouTube. 

Press Play Here is available online to 17 February.
