‘Roles We’ll Never Play’ concerts to stream online

The star-studded concerts were staged at the Apollo Theatre in December 2020.

UPDATE: Roles We'll Never Play will be available to stream again from 19-21 March

Following two nights of concerts, Roles We'll Never Play will be available to watch online. The acclaimed production can be streamed from 15 - 17 January.

Roles We'll Never Play invites performers to sing their favourite songs, typically considered to be outside of their casting brackets. The first Roles concert was staged two years ago, however the December 2020 performances at the Apollo Theatre marked the concept's West End premiere.

The cast included Alice Fearn, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Kelly Agbowu, Laura Baldwin, Pearce Barron, Luke Bayer, Courtney Bowman, Lauren Byrne, Mary Jean Caldwell, Lloyd Daniels, Nicole Raquel Dennis, Tom Duern, Chris Howell, Idriss Kargbo, Caroline Kay, Josie Kemp, Renee Lamb, Michael Mather, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky, Grace Mouat, Billy Nevers, Eve Norris, Oliver Ormson, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Alan Richadson, Lauren Soley, Markus Sodergren, Danielle Steers, Rodney Vubya and Karen Wilkinson.

Currently, all productions at the Apollo Theatre are suspended to 29 January at the earliest. This includes performances of Everybody's Talking About Jamie and Monday Night at the Apollo. For the latest information on West End shows, read here.
